Did you bring her to the vet or just yank them out?

Either way that dog deserves some serious doggy pain killers and a week to chill ax on a warm couch!

Pulled most of them out by hand. Didn't have any pliers, so I had to pull em out with my teeth. The one's in the roof of her mouth were the challenge. Held her jaws open wide, and went in after em. Was real lucky on one of the quills. Went thru her eyelid and was on her eyeball. Have no idea how it didn't puncture her eye!

Loaded her up on Benadril, and she was ready to go the next day.

Glad to hear she is doing OK, would hate to see my dog/friend suffer like that....Note to self and doggie, stay clear of Mr. Porcupine....

They are tough on a dog for sure. Had one walk by the cabin last year while hunting!

Taste like chicken, good with a roux; not the dog, the porcupine.
