Default tunnel

If it's for the marsh........ 1842 tunnel with a 40hp Tohatsu on the back. All you'll ever need. It'll run in inches and still run 30+ mph with a load.

Where will it be used? If you will be on the river ou****a, I would go surface drive (gator-tail). Plenty fast for a duck boat and able to with stand the many stumps encountered up there. S/D's run bestest on mfg's boats which adds to cost but you always get what ya pay fer.

I really like my Gator Tail. I've got a 1754 extreme with a 35 gtr with thr stage 1 mods and it prrforms flawlessly. I've got the pop up blind for duck hunting and it is easy to put it on and take it off.

Depends on where you hunt like everyone else says. I run a 12' custom fiberglass pirogue with a 13hp go devil with a custom short shaft. Bad little rig. I can go just about anywhere but its really only a 2 man rig. Not real good for running "open water" marsh. But I only have to go 1/4 mile or so from my truck to blind.

Im thinking gator tail or go devil I hunt in a few swamps up here very shallow but it holds alot of birds I think a surface drive would be better. For the rivers up here I have a 25hp tahatsu on a 14 ft Jon boat I just bought plenty of speed enough to get to my spots there, and thanks for the info.

How does that blind preform while hunting? Used one several yrs ago and it flared more ducks than we shot.

I just got this boat after duck season but I've hunted out of boat blinds before and I've learned its all about placement. As long as you make sure it blends in you'll do good, but if you just post up in thr middle of a pond then your more than likely gonna flare birds.

So many ways to go nowadays..........
I think custom is the way to go, so you can outfit it to your style of hunting.

I am thinking about having somehting made now, I have 10HP surface drive I need to put on a 14 footer..........maybe no more than 38 inches wide, with spuds and a blind.
We hunting small brakes now and smaller and low profile is the way to go
