Back in the 90's I had got rid of a Yota 4x4 that was well kept but because it had 188,000 I figured it had done its time ... what was I thinking ? lol

Nice. The most I ever got out of a vehicle was 244,000. That was a 98 Silverado. But did have transmission rebuilt at 125000. Motor still was quiet as a mouse and didn't leak or burn oil.

dad had a 454 chevy tow truck that got 677K miles...........had a two quart royal purple set up on it.

It was featured in the "Like a rock" commercials chevy used to have...........

Dad was on camera saying "it always gave me my dollar when I needed my dollar".........was a great commercial and showed my dad at his proudest.

If only I could have been a truck back then..........LOL

Man that is awesome. Do you know if that commercial is anywhere on the internet? I would like to see that. Nothing better than hard working folks getting it done. Props to your dad.

I worked at an oil change place years back. Had an old guy that did hot shot work with his Toyota t100, guy had over a million miles on it. He told us Toyota gave him a watch when the truck hit 1,000,000
