Guys the systems down at walmart, academy, everywhere. I'll keep trying upto the point of sitting in my boat at the fishing spot.

Tried Walmart, online, academy no luck. Was able to get it from the little corner store in Broussard. Good luck!

I went to Cormie's grocery at about 7:30PM today and they said the system is down state wide so who knows.

A statewide computer failure of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries licensing system means licenses that just expired on June 30 will be good through at least Sunday, July 5, according to the department’s head of enforcement.

The state needs to dump that website and start one that's worth a flip. Whoever built that program needs to be fired. It shouldn't be THAT difficult to get a license to obey the law.

LDWF will honor 2014-2015 licenses per their Facebook page:

"Weekend Anglers, our sincere apologies for our licensing system being down for an extended period yesterday. We've been notified that the system is back up and running. For the inconvenience, per the Enforcement Col., If you have a 2014-15 license, it will be honored through the weekend. Happy Fourth!"

I'm late in replying, but know some folks might make that evening fishing trip today.

I wish I would have known that a couple of days ago. Anyway I was able to get online and do it on the 3rd.
