Cheers Date Day with Wife on the Lake 3/19/10

Took my wife out today as she has been wanting to go catch some reds.....
I also have a spot that holds good trout this time of the year and you all ways can pick up some reds..........
When I pulled up at 7am there were shrimp jumping all over and specks and reds killing em..........I told my wife hold on its about to get stupid!!!

Well first off my Wife has not fished in about 6months so she was a little rusty and with the new reel she was kind of gun shy at first!!!.....So it took a little time to get her warmed up after a few misses she picked back up quickly!!

We were on some nice specks but the reds were just a thick!!! We had the whole area to our selves not a boat in sight for miles!!! I was just taking my time with her and letting her pull in trout and reds!!! Wouldn't you know some IDIOT!!! was passing by and saw my wife sling a fish in the boat!!!! This Maggot runs up wide open about 30ft for my boat on big motor!!!!. .........I almost lost it!!!......But I took about 4 deep breath .......... Tried to calm down!!! I trolled off cranked up and left!!!

Any way we ended up with 24 Trout 10 reds and Tagged and released about 13 reds and 3 nice trout!!!

Yea,,,,,,,,,I just got off the phone with DD........After I told him were all by our selves and haven't seen a boat all morning!!! It was nice to catch fish in piece........Now I had no problem with someone coming catch fish because there were acres of them.........BUT when you have no clue and run your outboard up over them.......HUMMMM that is one thing they don't like.........How do these idiots even catch fish.........

I hate to say it like this but I'm sure the only time this boat load of idiots ever caught fish was at the weirs.........You cant mess that up!!!

Throwing jig heads with Dead shrimp and no trolling motor!!!
He wanted to move up a little crank it and drive up baby.....

Evis I diffently have no problem fishing in worst of foul weather: believe dis ;sum real successful trips have been running and gunning from foul weather.then after weather moves through you got the lake to your self just like well too many years ago. Sorry W couldn't resist.W the Ide's tides are starting Monday. Shame on the flat's. Should be starting to stack in the channel.

Maybe not for long...gonna try to put down Monday after Easter if all goes well...I've scheduled a "conference meeting" that day....So, if you see me out there in my suit, don't think anything about it...
