Default Pit Bulls

A while back someone mentioned that pit bulls and their owners were not to be trusted. Something along those lines. Not to start a big debate but this happened today. My dog which is a 72lb Amercan Pitbull was outside with me while I was moving my truck. I hear all hell break loose so i'm out of my truck and my Thomas is *** kicking a strange dog in his yard. That's his job. When I yelled Thomas Stop he disengaged and went to the porch. He wears a wireless shock collar and can get to nothing farther than 90 feet from my house. He was doing nothing but protecting but immedieatly stopped when given a command. It's not the dog it's the owner/trainer no matter the breed. The stray dog was a healthy 75lb boxer/bulldog mix my guess. No major injuries. Was really friendly and after a half hour of riding arou d and asking his owner was found.

Blah blah blah, Like all the headlines, "He was the sweetest dog ever, never hurt a fly until he ate so and so's face off"

That pit bull served you well. Should have let him finish the job and let him go ahead and kill that other dog though. That's YOUR property. That other dog should know better. That other dog could have easily harmed you and your family had your pit not handled up on him.

Why didn't you shoot the dog afterwards? It's your property bro

No matter how careful you are most people's dogs get loose at least once in their life. Especially sporting dogs. The large majority of dogs are not aggressive. Why is it good for your dog to attack what was probably someones pet that was lost. I'm willing to bet he showed no signs of aggression

We are entirely difference. When I see a dog loose in my neighborhood, I try to get a number from it's collar and call the owner.

As soon as I saw what was happening the stop command was given and obeyed immediatly. I found the owner and his dog was returned to him with little more than his pride hurt. But yes it is my dogs job to protect me and my family. People have no worries other than lots of lickings. With his wireless collar he and her can go no farther than 90' from our house. That's close and closer than he wanted the other dog to be to his house. The other dog was a sweety and i'm glad he is back home.

So you are OK with your just dog mauling anything that's in your yard. I don't know why anyone would want a dog like that but that's your right. What if a neighborhood kid's ball goes in your yard and they go get it. We have all done that before.

I really do apologize for your reading comprehension not being much above 3rd grade level. Read it slowly and you may see where I said a person has no issue other than being licked. When the dogs owner came to get him last night he was met with a bark then a wagging tail once my dog was told it was ok. They are family dogs not attack dogs but he will not allow anything to happen to his family. Honestly at 2 am when something goes crash do you want a pit bull with you or a poodle?

Sounds like you got a good dog and a some good guns duckman. My dog just licks and picks up birds. Lol. I keep the .45 by the bed as well.

With a 155-180 grain bullet traveling at roughly 1,000fps ducking is not an option. You need to be behind hard cover.
Also it was just a joke.

We all have the rights to form our own opinion. But duckman (I'm a drunk let me cry on saltycajun like a 12 year old girl) calling someone out for their reading comprehension is quite funny. You've proven more than once to be the village idiot around here.

Naw I just like trolling. It's really fun to just keep coming up with stupid crap just to see who smells it. I mean who really takes any of this seriously? Hopefully nobody. This is just a big sand box to play in. I'm gonna clock out later go get a beer, maybe get some road head on the way home and if it's a good night my wife will be tied to the wall and ****ed this evening. That's my life. How is yours?
