Default spaghetti squash

I planted some small wonder spaghetti squash...Never had before and my wife came up with a recipe online using stewed tomato's , grated parmasion , grated mozzarella...Well I ain't no vegetarian and had some fresh shrimp I just bought so in they went...Not bad at all...These things make a great substitute for rice or pasta...Next time meat balls or redfish...

So did you have to cut them into noodle shapes? This has always confused me. I'm trying to lay off bread, pasta and rice and it's tough!! Been wondering about this squash.

There's a little tool that you can buy to turn them into "noodles" It's one of those as seen on TV deals but the one I have works great. Some people use a fork to do it.

I cut them in half stem to stern then took out seeds. Put in baking dish shell side up , add 1/4 cup water , cover and bake 375 for half hour. After they cooled I used a fork and scraped out stem to stern...It didn't come out as stringy as what I saw the original spaghetti squash. Sort of shorter strings. There's all sorts of recipe's online for them. Very easy to grow and can be grown spring and fall.
