Yep tonight was supposed to be a night of stele ration but it's turned into a pittyful night of drinking alone.
Owner refused concessions and has gone nuts. I'm in the hole for 3 grand and not to mention the 2 weeks of unethical survey crap from a motor guy.
So in morning I go to a hotel bye the way without bead bugs as I'm tired of itchy rashes and wait for ride to Louisiana . And of corse keep a little hope that owner comes back to planet earth and has a clue. As not many would put out like the slut I am.

Did I mention non coastguard compliant heads and no anchor or life raft.one ac unit does not function and most of the lights don't work as we'll as the compressor for the horn. List goes on. Ya it's a 1970 and owner stopped fishing it due to motor .....I'm not stupid it has sat for a long time. And first survey mechanic new that. He rebuilt starboard motor.
Boat is slow out of date not a tournament boat. Not a high demand fisher.
No freezer and grill is shot in cockpit as well as grill in tally .
Yep time to sign off switching to scotch beer ran out!!!

Welcome to the world of Big Boats Ratdog. Look at Trawlers. Much cheaper to buy, own, maintain and run. I personally like Mainships and the Tiawanese made boats. Go to Yacht Finder there are hundreds out there. You can find a nice Mainship late 70's to mid 80's vintage that will run you much less than $50,000.00 with a Diesel engine. They would fit your needs to a T and burn less fuel. They might not be as fast but you will save a fourtune in fuel. Look up a blog about a boat called ''Beach House''.

Them Sportfishers cost a ton to operate it's the nature of the beast. Personally I don't think you going to water ready 53' Hatt for under $200,000. Good luck in your continuing Saga.
