Trout & Redfish Slam 2-7-2012

Today I jumped on board with Capt Rodney 'TroutHog' Bourque and John 'Pieo' Falgout. All it took was two stops to fill the ice-chest to the top with trout and reds. We caught over 30 reds (keeping our 15) and 60 trout (left them biting). Blueback swimbaits and Lemon Head Matrix Shad did the damage on the trout early this morning. As the day warmed up the avocado Matrix Shad put a hurt on the specks. The redfish also crushed the avocado and shrimp creole Matrix Shad. Texas Tackle Factory Killer Flats Minnows in black/chart were also irresistible to the redfish as they were eating them up as soon as they hit the water. We saw well over 100 reds today as they were stacked up like crazy. Big thanks to my sponsors for supplying these incredible baits. Great time today Trouthog and Pieo, thanks again.
