Default Missouri Trip 5/31/12---6/8/12

Made a trip to Missouri with my GF for her sisters wedding. Wedding went as planned with everyone getting drunk and not remembering it. We had a spur-of-the-moment plan to camp out on the big piney river.

Went and scouted it out and seen a few small mouths mixed in with some large mouths.

Next day, get there about noonish and someone is in out "spot" we fish til 3:00pm and they leave. We set-up camp and fish til dark with one under-slot largemouth and a few rock bass (goggle eye) and a 5lb small mouth my gf's dad caught. We cooked dinner and was sitting around having a few cold ones, and this guy shows up to eat with us. We sit there and entertain him while he entertains us for about 3 hrs.

At around midnight, there was a few drunk G.I's wanted to go mudding in his new jeep with his 33" all terrains and 3" lift. Well, needless to say he picked the wrong hole to go mudding in. After several failed attempts from his buddy in a "bad a$$" tundra, the v-6 edition mind you, and about 10 broken 1" ratchet straps along with a small chain, they never budged an inch. They all left in the tundra about 4:00AM. Bet they felt horrible for PT at 6:00am

Word of advice, if you ever decide to go mudding, at least test the waters before hitting them and if you see black marks rubbing down the sides of the ruts, there has been something in it bigger than 33" mud tires.

All in all, had a great time and it was a nice Vacation for a week.

But I still missed Louisiana !!!!!
