Terrebonne arish Sheriff Office confirmed 5 dead in boating accident in Falgout Canal this morning.

What is the deal this year? That makes 8 fatalities in 5 days not including the other 'water related' drowning.....Daily Comet.com and Houma Today.com...

Larry was a great guy, and I'll miss him a lot. He taught me a lot about the history of German immigrants to Texas, helping me be a better teacher. I'm sure in shock.
