Nice! I was there the day before and picked up a bunch of sand trout and fought off a few ladyfish.

What what y'all think its funny !!!!! I think it funny lol if y'all want a report the fish or in the bayou all over Avery island fish the drop offs in the cannals dead shrimp lady fish cut up in 1inch chucks an little crokers about 3 to 4inch I love catching red fish I like the fight I would love to catch some specks never really fished for them caught a few hear an there but never got on the big time

I like your style, that's why I'm laughin!

If I were an expert on specks, much less specks in the bay, I would hook you up - all I know are the "public" spots, and I just keep hitting them when the conditions seem right. This produces fair to crappy results on a very consistent basis.

Yea buddy that's me I thought that fish in trip was going to end early that mornin my wife was sitting in front of the console on the bait well I had some friends following me in a 16ft an it was a Lil rough I turned side swell she looked behind a flew off the seat hint the side of the boat an split her head open but she was tough she took it like a man an sucked it up an didn't want to go back in she wanted to fish I gave the wheel to my brother an held her she has a nice cut on her forhead but went to the Dr an had it check out she is OK I turned her an my brother an his wife it to some fish junkies

Yea huh like everyone else dose lol no I'm not like that if someone is fish in my spot I'll just move about 300 yards away an tair the fish up when they move because I'm catching an they not they will move closer to me then I'll move in my spot an start catching then they pick up an ask man what u doing to catch I'll just say u have to know how to fish my holes they get mad had it happen last weekend an old man an his friend was fish in I asked them if they were catching they said they had been there for four hours an didn't catch anything an they had fished my honey hole I pulled up dropped anchor got settled my wife cass hook a 29 1/2 an we caught what was in the pic they started fussin all I could do is laugh it turned out to be a good day

You will not enjoy trout fishing if you don't like fishing around idiots trying to jump in your boat when they see you catch a trout. I am to the point to where I don't trout fish anymore for that reason. Besides,they are full of worms and hardly fight unless they are 3 pounds or better. Redfish fight strong and taste just as good if you trim out the blood line.

Yes I hear ya that why if I catch them where I'm fishing I keep them I like white trout better anyway yes I don't think I want to go fight the people then somethings bad going to happen an I don't want that to happen I rether just throw my anchor an sit an fish an wait for one of them bad boys to hook on

Yall caught the white trout on the bottom with Shrimp? Anyone try a cork with plastics? Real good falling tide tbis weekend. Hoping the reds are hiting in the Delcambre canal and mout of Oaks and Avery. Reds were going nuts by Peigneur a couple weeks ago
