Default New Guy

Hi all! New guy here from Lafayette. I was just wondering, does anyone do any fishing at Burns Point from the land and is the fishing any good? I plan on going out somewhere Friday. Is it even worth a trip down there or would i just be better off hitting the Mermentau River bridge and/or the ferry and the Cameron jetty?

B.P. Is much better in the fall season imo. Went last weekend...crabs n hard heads. Baby (2') bull sharks all over. Cut mullet on the bottom for them w/ wire leader. FUN catch right there.

Thanks for the welcome!! Yeah i really like catching sharks, lots of fun there. After scratching at C.P. and a few freshwater places lately (including a catfish farm ), I've got the urge to catch something to eat. But then again, this is Louisiana and everything can be cooked up here. lol
