I have a "factory Briggs" on my prodrive except for bps exhaust and k&n air filter. Im not unhappy with it, but if more could be gotten out of it cheap and easy, I would be interested. Also, not interested in taking life off of the motor. Any suggestions?

Default stage 1

Add a cam and get your heads worked and you will see a major difference in your motor. I have the stage 1 mods on my gator tail and I would never run a stock motor. It's idles better and runs much better with more power. You won't be disappointed after doing a few ready mods. And as far as shortening the life of the motor, I know a few guys with over 500 hours on their motors after the mods. So as long as you don't go over board you should be fine.

yep, we used to rebuild them... every one youd take apart was just put together where theyd "last" but they never ran like they should. if you had a car the was built like these, youd have to ride with the windows down cause it would stink so bad!

I don't know of anyone near lake Charles but I would definitely recommend having gator tail do the mods. Give Hoyt a call and he can set you up right. They did my mods and I've Ben nothing but pleased. You won't regret it

You can't go wrong with Calen he did my mods. I would bring another motor to him without a second thought.
