Default Cape Bay 23

Here is my Cape Horn Cape Bay 23. Has a Yamaha F300. WOT 58 MPH, Cruise at 3200 RPM at 30MPH. 7.5 to 8 GPH at Cruise. 3.5 Sec to plane. Need to put some trim tabs on her, other than that she's perfect.

Sweet boat, I'm going to ask a question and I'm in no way hating.
Where is the storage at besides the front locker?
And where so the rods go??

330xs? Is that 330hp? Is it supercharged??

Really is a fine boat, I'm just not that familiar with SCB and the layouts.

It definitely does not have the storage that my Triton did. I did learn how little I actually use when I had to clean out my Triton to sell. I could not believe all of the unused stuff that was stashed in all of that storage.

There is a rod locker that holds four and four rocket launchers behind the seats.

The motor is a Mercury Optimax 300XS. When the boat was built Eric Simmons installed the DBR Racing Kit which adds another 30hp so he put the 330XS decals on it. I actually changed it back to stock until the warranty runs out. Here are a few pics showing the storage and the motor now.

I got it to 83 mph on a cold day with my gear and 3/4 tank of fuel. Eric Simmons ran it to 90.4 mph with no load and he had his speed prop on it. The weather really makes a difference on the top end but it will run mid 70's no matter what.
