Default Safety First

I hit Lake Fork last night with a buddy to fish though the night under the full moon. - After only 40 minutes of fishing, we started seeing lightning flashes in the distance. Even though there was not rain in the forecast, we thought it best to head back toward the ramp.

By the time we got to the ramp, the wind was up 20+, we were bouncing over white caps, thunder was clapping, and the first heavy drops of the pop-up storm were starting to fall. - My buddy and I both agreed, heading back when we did was a very good call.

The trip was not a total loss, before our run back to the ramp, we boated 4 nice sized bass on 10" black Power Worms. The fish were pulled out of the mouth of a creek in 12' water on the outside edge of the stump-line
