Hey Guys!!!
I currently own a 175 HP Suzuki 4 stroke (2007.) I have recently decided it's time to upgrade from my 1996 Cajun Fishmaster 1850 boat to something new with the same engine. I mostly saltwater fish in South Louisiana with the occasional trip to Toledo Bend. AAHH!!! the choices. I've been looking at all the options such as Nautic Star, Tidewater, Sea hunt, Pathfinder, Frontier, Haynie, ect.. The big names such as Skeeter, Triton, Blazor Bay, Blackjack seem to requir a little more power. I know I want nothing less than a 22 footer. Although, I'm not a speed demon, I would like to run atleast 45 MPH. The perfect hull for me would be something I can get into the Shallows (and out), but would also knock down some strong 2 ft/ 3 ft chop. Right now I'm seem to be leaning toward the 22ft express, but now wild about Aluminum. Any one running a 22' bay with a 150 or 200? Any suggestions?

I really like the HAYNIE just never seen one with a zuke four stroke. Just a few more hours and some other guys will chime in but i would think a 200 four stroke would be enough motor for a z21. They are pretty light.

I really like my 21 Frontier. Like Chas, I wish it had a 200 instead of the 150 on it. If I had to do it again, I would look really hard at the Haynie lo side. The wind messes with you in the standard bay boat. I fish alot on both Toledo and Big Lake

I know someone with that engine on a 22 pathfinder, it runs 50 mph.

I don't think the ride matches up with some of the others but plenty on the used market.

Agree with Josh......I have a buddy that has that same engine on his blue wave. Fishes big lake and toledo bend too.

You could do the 21 Haynie. I've seen them with a Zuki.

Really anything in the 21 ft range and you'd be fine.
