With the TX thread in the general forum, got me thinking, I really do love some good TX Hill Country Music, Alt Country, Dirt Road, etc. whatever you want to call it.

How could a TX music thread be started without having mentioned Stevie Ray Vaughn? I know it's not necessarily the same genre but, he is, in my opinion, the best thing to ever come out of TX.

Geeze! I forgot Willie Nelson! I already told the wife that, if I ever meet him, I'm gonna have to burn with him, even though I'm not an advocate for that type of thing!

She hates that type of stuff but told me she completely understood why I would have to! LOL

If you haven't listened to Dub Miller, you gotta give him a listen. One of my favorite TX Country artists. Bleu Edmonson also, and Davin James adds some Cajun flair to TX Country.
