Here's how we do it at the farm! This is my wife with her first bow kill, in her first 1 hour of bow hunting with a borrowed bow shooting 43 pounds using a 75 grain wasp broadhead. This is her 3rd huge buck that she'll have on my wall! I'LL NEVER TAKE HER FISHING!

We're excited about bow season in October. My wife and I have a child with cerebral palsy. He's 4. for the past 4 years, we've now spent time away from him with the both of us gone. Last September, I asked my mom to watch my 3 boys and scrambled to find my wife a bow that she could shoot. A friend of mine fixed us up with his grandson's bow that was hanging in his bow shop. Adrian started shooting rather well out to 20 yards. We went up to our farm the Friday before opening day. My wife is an awesome woman that devotes her time to our handicap child. What happens next is something out of a story book.
We slept in on opening moring. That afternoon, around 4:00, I took her to my favorite food plot which was 5 inches high with oats. I left her with a radio to call me if she needed me for anything. At 5:15, I got a call from her saying that she'd shot a buck. The rest as they say is history.

Now, I've got to get her a bow of her own. But, I've got a new bow hunting partner!

My wife hunts too. She's been fighting cancer for 12 years. So it's hard to find her a place to hunt thats easy to get to & is comfortable. When I hear her shoot the hair stands up on my neck! I LOVE IT!!!
This is her with her new Ruger compact 7mm-08.
Hey guys, how many of you can buy your wife a new gun for Christmas & she actually be happy with it!!!LOL
