I had the pleasure of fishing with some boys that work at Southern Chevrolet from Alexandria LA. Sunday. They know how to have fun no matter what comes at them. We left the dock at 6:00am Sunday morning with a strong North wind blowing 10 to 15mph. We ran out to Tiger Shoals to spot that was producing some really nice trout Friday and nothing but catfish on Sunday. We stayed there a litter while then left started jumping to a few different spots and we ended up catching a few Spanish Mackerel about noon we ended up where we started seas had calmed down water cleared up nicely and sharks had moved in. We couldn’t put a bait in the water without getting a shark right away. We left that rig and moved in closer to the pass finally we found some Red Fish and these boys got hooked up and caught a few White Trout and Specs too. Even though the fishing wasn’t great these boys still had a blast. The worst day fishing beats the best day working!! I am sure all would agree on that.
