All about letting the kids catch fish today and enjoy themselves. I had Lonnie Barr back and his friend Shawn Stevens From Dallas Tx. Shawn brought his three kids 12yr old Gentry, 8yr old Landry, and 6 yr old Finley. It was a pleasure having the kids on-board as they had a blast all day reeling in fish. We fished strictly shrimp on the bottom all day. Non-stop action at our first stop as the kids were reeling in reds, trout, flounder, drum, bass, sheepshead, and freshwater catfish. We made a few moves looking for a better redfish bite only finding about 2 at each stop. Gentry reeled in his biggest fish ever a 25 pound drum (he was amazed how big it was). The look on these kids faces reeling in the fish was priceless!! Good times had by all. The kids were whipped at the end of the day and the mission was accomplished. Thanks guys for such an enjoyable day.
