I just got my hands on one of the new Stick-Em' Lip Grip / Scale. Looks like it will be an excellent choice for Kayakers and Waders due to the very lite weight aluminum construction. The scale ranges to 40lbs and is very smooth. It has a black EVA grip for easy, sure handling and a coil lanyard with clip to attach to your yak or waders.

I'll let you know how it works next time I catch a fish!!! :)

Contact Jason (Longcast) here on the site for more info. If you're in the Bluff and want to see/feel the quality, feel free to contact me.

They feel cheap in hand. Boga is where it's at. If you have 70 to spend on something to weigh your fish then you can dish out a extra 30 one one that will last

Didn't feel cheap to me. Everything was tight, fit and finish was very good. Just felt like it was 25~30% the weight of a Boga.

Did you use it very long or just feel it?

I have a friend that bought one and I have used it once with him. It's a good design just doesn't have the solid and smooth feel as the boga. The lanyard looks like it will break in no time.

The blue lip grip portion pulls down out of the black hand grip, the weight is read at the silver ring between the two halves.

How the weight is shown??
And is this deal certified to "weight" a fish?
What are the parts made of ; don't want to wade with it and them have it freeze up.
I abuse my boga; have had it almost 5 years..... Oil 2 x a year no issues.
Weight is still true too.
