Got home to find out my 56" TV blew up!!! Headed to Best Buy now, so guys LCD or Plasma and why? I'll be at the store in an hour I need help. Thanks

Led's last longer, burn a ton less energy, and won't cause spots overtime on the screen. Make sure u get the highest refresh rate / or hz whatever they call it

DO NOT get plasma. LCD and led are good. I have the samsung LCD and it's been great so far. My dad also has samsung LCD and he hasn't had any trouble. His is about 4 years old. Plasmas do not last.

Give your daughter a few bucks to keep her mouth shut :smokin: I have the 60" Samsung led smart tv in family room and master bedroom , I forget what I paid for em . But tey are awesome!!!

Just hooked up a Samsung soundbar and subwoofer to the Tv, going to tell my wife it was included in the TV purchase
