This is a friend of mine company and they do pay fair plus good benefits for someone willing to grow with the company. The position would be based out of Baton Rouge. Fairly easy job installing and trouble shooting gps machine control on construction equipment.
GeoShack is offering an excellent opportunity for a Field Service Technician for installation and field service repair of machine control systems. Knowledge of hydraulics, electronics and welding experience is preferred; knowledge of GPS systems a plus. Background in heavy equipment repair, aviation service and repair, etc. is helpful. Training provided. Some overnight travel will be required.
Qualifications: Each successful candidate will possess:
Good organizational skills.
Must be computer literate.
Tech degree preferred.
Good mechanical skills required.
Heavy equipment experience a plus.
Mobile/hydraulic experience a plus.
Must have a clean driving record.
Must be able to see, hear and communicate effectively in oral and written form
