View Full Version : First Kayak trip at 210 bridge!!

I finally took out my Hobie Quest to Prien Lake by the 210 bridge for a few hours on my birthday. Water was like glass and quiet. I pulled in my first fish from the yak on my second cast...a nice red. My heart was racing, I thought to myself...it can be done!!!! A few casts later, a flounder, woohooo!!!! No more fish after that, but man, I'll take that as a first trip any day.

im gonna be going home for thanks giving break, maybe we can get together and go paddle big lake on the friday or something

Just let me know which day you guys decide on so I can book it with my wife. That's one place I haven't made it to yet.
