nice.... is that a 10" jack plate? should be getting clean water to turn up in. Got some room that's for sure. Send some more pics as you are in the process of getting the boat like you want it.

Not sure if you finished rigging her out yet but when I had my 16' alweld just like yours I installed 2 small pieces of angle on the back bench seat between the transom and the seat. install it low enough that you can place a 3/4" piece of ply over the top and cut the ply just long enough that when you set it on the angle it wedges itself between the back seat angle and the transom. It gave me covered storage, and made the back platform huge for fishing. I tested mine by hanging onto a beam slightly and jumping up and down and it never budged. Here is a pic of it.

Sorry it took so long for pics. Rigged out. Took jack plate off and raised motor up on transom better performance. Southside cut back bench and made storage. Not sure on top speed but id say 35-37 is about right. Runs and handles great. Added cup to prop and runs great now.
