My grandpaw had a corner of his yard he grew garlic...Never planted garlic but grew garlic every year...He started out planting but when he got older in years he just dug his garlic and what he called nuts which looked like nuts on the outside the garlic bulb he just left in the patch...Well these nuts will make a garlic ball the following year and you leave the ball which for elephant garlic sometimes gets as big as a golf ball , then the following year make a head of garlic....He also threw the stones of the peaches in the garlic patch and always had peach trees . Never had to spray a peach tree for worms... after a tree was 3 or 4 years old simply plant one on side and when it was ready to produce cut the older one down....The only problem ever had was ants attack the peach tree roots....Well just living in the past with nothing else to do today......Backs hurt'n like hell.....
