TTF's Stingray First Aid Kits and Stingmate Jellyfish Spray kits are now available at most if not all Academys, FTU, and Bass Pro Shops.
Get them before they start getting too thick, I have one on me at all times. Got stung last year and it was not fun at all!
Each kit contains:
For stingray hits
- A pair of gloves
- A moist towelette for cleaning hands
- A gauze pad to help slow bleeding
- Hydrogen peroxide to help clean and sterilize the wound
- A pair of tweezers for spine and debris removal
- Antibotic ointment
- Adhesive bandages
- A heat pack that can be used to alleviate pain
- Elastic wrap for holding the heat pack in place
For jellyfish stings
- A 1-oz. spray bottle of jellyfish sting relief gel*
- A wooden scraper for removing gel and stinging nematocysts
- Hydrocortisone cream to relieve irritation
