I know what you mean, our field is going to be in the ducks all week this week while I work, then after the weekend hunts, I'm sure the field will be drying up again by the time it opens back up.

Long range forecast has a chance of rain for a few days.

1st split has come and gone. Looking for to the 2nd split. Sucks I won't be able to hunt opening weekend though.

Hopefully the second split is full of ducks, geese, and cold weather. Only had a few days during the split that was actually cold.

Yeah man sweating by butt off last day of first spilt, that just aint right.

Got a little taste of excitement the last day of the split and its all I can think about now. suuuxxxx

i know i'm ready for it to open back up, but i have to work saturday of the opener look out sunday though.

look bro i haven't shot a poodoo all year, and i've only missed a full limit on 3 hunts. So in the words of si robertson "hey back off jack"!!!!! Lol!!!!

Also i think when we went we had a pretty good hunt came out with 15

If i have to hunt the grass the rest of the season i'm okay with that. I got a nice spot that they can't see until the steel shot is folding them.

This is just a small piece of what's in the fields across the street from my house this morning. Almost made it to my gun fast enough when about 500 took a wide turn over my house.
