HAHAH yea Reefman! T-Reefman had me cracking up at the camp about Wingshooter. We had a great weekend last weekend on the north side of yalls property in those new flooded fields. I think we going to my camp Friday. Are you going?

DUCKGOGETTER 01-10-2013 03:48 PM

I would love to go this weekend, but gc would be a waste with all the rain they got there in the marsh.

Nauticstar1187 01-10-2013 03:55 PM

There was TONS of birds down there before all this rain.

Might go Friday and ride to all the blinds gathering up floating equipment and dekes. Hunt Sunday if my boss lets me! Good luck!

I have geese on our property and tomorrow is supposed to be foggy. Should I plan to hunt a distance away or get close enough to pass shoot the suckers?

If its foggy enough they will come to exactly where you are blowing the call.

southLA 01-10-2013 09:04 PM

So get 1/4-1/2 mile away?

We don't usually get birds on us very much lol. Not used to hunting close to a big group

Just found out my blind is 6 inches under water near ville platte... trying to decide whether to try a levee hunt or not. We dont have much cover so I'll just have to call really good because I wont be able to hide very well
