We have to compete with huge (1000+ birds) bodies of birds around us. Since we went to the large number of decoys, we pull a lot of birds and even pull birds from extremely high that most people wouldn't even look at.

No cancer. All tests came back negative. Clean bill of health. Watch out wood ducks, daddy is coming for ya !!!!

Went with Shawn to Johnson Bayou to grass the blind this afternoon. Lots of birds. Looked like mostly blue wing, mottle and a bunch of spoonies.

Well, I will be the one at work while everyone is hunting this weekend. Much rather be in the marsh any day, ducks or not.

Will be sitting on a log tomorrow in knee deep water. Heading to the homeland of Oua****a Parish at 2:30 this afternoon. Have rifles, bow, boat, shotguns, and 4 jigpoles. Duck hunt in the mornings, fish or deer hunt in the evenings. Finally getting a week off:)

The only electronic device I will be near will be my phone in case I fall out the tree. Will report back in a week or so, good luck.

You know opening morning even though all that wanted to dance was pookiedoos still had fun burning the barrels on them and laughing. I'm still laughing micha when we were smacking them suckers as they were decoying you saying right bank eddie, right bank.

My in-laws are "buck hunters" they refuse to shoot does (un manly I guess). Will shoot a spike if it walks out with 400 does:cool:. Usually take the wife to shoot a doe or two out there after Thanksgiving. Water level up there is extremely low right now, we shall see if the ducks are there. If they are I will duck hunt, if not, white perch and deer. :)
