It will not end........sorry to say..........
We HAVE to allow our on crude to be used.

With all the unrest in the middle east.....we will see oil soar out of site this summer

+ gas $$$ = less boats on the lake = more fish for me :D

if prices stay high....watch the market for 18-19 ft boats w/ <150 hp motors soar and a lot of bigger boats with the gas hogs get stuck on the market

This is where i feel boats like Pangamarine 7-8 mpg should have saved up some marketing money! I still gotta have me one of them boats....;)

Comparison
LA TX
Marlboro lights ~4 ~7
Budweiser 16oz 6pk ~5 ~7.50
Copenhagen ~2 ~4.75
Milk 4 .99

Doesn't make sense. Shouldn't things that keep you alive and healthy be cheaper??

Winston Lights keep me alive. :smokin:

:shaking:

Higher prices will not keep people off the water and will not slow down the BS joy riding on the highways, either. Tough times are ahead for fishing guides, tho.

got a feeling it will hamper the ones who make the long drives often ....and if it gets to 5$ or more for gas....com on man....you can't tell me it wont slow down the amount of boats on the water....hell it did last time...and i hope the best for the guides

redalertlures 02-28-2011 08:19 AM

hell i stay at home now and its 3.30 here in this lil town, if it gets to $5 i will only go to work and to church.(but I can walk to church). I already sold the boat so I guess i will become a pier/bank fisherman or get out the ole flat bottom and use the motor mother nature gave me. lol

God I hope it doesnt come to that but our country is in so much turmoil right now who knows wats gonna happen?

diseal has been 3.50-3.96 here for 5 or six months. you just pay it and go on. as some of yall know i used to live down there and still have a place in hackberry (5hours from here) fuel prices are not going to cut into my fishing. i will cut something else out first.

Big Kahunaz 02-28-2011 11:51 AM

I agree with ya there. I'll pull my boat with a corolla if need be! =)

I said the samething few summers ago when Gas was $4..NO Change in boat action... They just load up more to one boat.....

Or go out in a smaller boat which means BANK BURN TIME

Garfish 02-28-2011 02:06 PM
