Wait for a gun show and you can get a better deal.
I bought a Judge revolver for aoubt $100 cheaper than at the gun shops.
There is a lot more competition during the gun shows from other shops all over the state.

Off topic of the pump shotgun... but what about the browning maxus...any one shot one or heard anything about them??? Very interested in one...

My son and I both have been running the novas for three seasons now. Have not had any problems at all. We are hard on our guns during duck season. If you want to try the nova out one day, we can meet up at Sherburne and you can shoot all you want.

Fool, if you want to try my Nova 12 gauge, PM me and I will loan it to you for a few hunts.
I never thought about that. Thanks for the idea LSU...

Looks like Browning is replacing their Gold 12 ga models with this. Not sure why. Browning Gold is a great gun. This one looks to be good as well. IMO, you can't go wrong with Browning. If I decide to go for a good auto, it'd be this or the Berretta Extrema 2.

Yeah, I've fired a few with the Berretta Ex. Okay but seemed real bulky...guess I wasn't used to it...I thought the Maxus was coming out in July but seems to have been delayed until sept/aug. Supposed to be a great all around gun with a light weight...

You want to see a crazy gun check out the Bennelli Vinci...

I know my uncle had a Benneli and a buddy and both had problems with theirs... not sure of the newer models...

The original Berretta Extrema is bulky, the Berretta Extrema 2 is not.
Awesome gun, but definitely need Kick Off for the big loads!
