the little hatch door on the lid of mine flew off on the highway ......... i got to find me one of those!!!

The other big problem with these are the screws stripping out in the plastic chest. Any fixes for this???

My grandpaw used to use sticky side velcro still got one of his....its held lots of fish and crabs.....

Get a slightly bigger screw and use 3M marine sealant (Home Depot) in the screw hole and under the hinge. Once its on it aint comin off! Just dont get it on your hands or clothing. Pain in the butt!

Drill thru and thru and put a flat washer and nut on inside. Little on the black boy side but it works

That will work for the cooler but not the lid!!!

Im gonna have to do that, i keep ripping my effin handles off everytime i pull my ice chest seat out!

I have done this on more than one 94 quart marine ice chest. It works great and you don't have to worry about the handles breaking off with a chest full of fish.
