just to let y'all know.. we have reel repair at the tackle box in sulphur. he charges $20 for cleaning, and parts on top of that. i rarely get complaints and if we do, he will fix it fast w/ no charge, of course. he also offers a bearing upgrade for shimano reels. i had him do an old cu200bsf that i couldnt bear to part with.. thing casts better than it ever did.

Ron's will be my only choice . When I had foot surgery this year I had brought sum reels to him believe this or not he delievered them to my house at no extra charge. the repairs and parts charge were very minamal. He is full of very useful knowledge about rod and reel equipement the things we would most likely never find out unless having a heipful aid like him.Sorry locals' it should not always be about the$$$$$.

Mr. Ron Ardoin does a great job.
He does the cleaning, polishing and buffing for $40. Regular cleaning is $20. He does more too, but I don't think it's worth the money. I throw a lot farther than new out of the box, just with the $20 cleaning. |
