Salty special.

It's called silver prism/black back. They also make 'em with a blue back. I repainted some with a chartreuse back and belly and left the prism on the sides. Pink back and yellow belly is my fav. That's 2/3 of a Texas Chicken.

I never cared for throwin' topwaters because of the aggravation of them not eatin' it at times. The dudes that fished with me loved it, tho. That's how I started catchin' them topwater fish with a Bomber. I'd throw right behind a blowup, twitch it a time or two, and, WHAM! It's just as much fun as on top.

You told me to try it a while back, and yes it does work. Had a few hit it on top after letting it float back to the surface. Also caught a huge sheepshead on it,ask meaux I was in his boat.

We have fished the original corky's under a spook tyed on with 40lb fluro. Removed back hook and tyed to the back of the last o-ring. Moderate success, just neutralizes some of that action a spook gives, but it did work on several fish.

Broke off a few times and moved up to 80lb and it held better and did not get tangled as bad also.

I caught a blackie but never a goathead. Every flounder I ever caught (4 ) was on a Bomber.
