Advise on the lake.......ride around till you find a black haynie with a midget on it......he knows where to go......motor over to him, his name is Ryan rachenuck. Ask him how he's doin and ask where you should go......he will give you a big lake crash course.....

Forgot.....he likes to talk, so you may as well toss the anchor out....

Hey guys. New to this site. Actually I've been watching everyday for the last 2 months and I love it. I've been looking on the LA Sportsman site for big lake reports and can never find squat. Now I see why. It all happens here. I just got rid of my 18' aluminum back breaker and upgraded to a 21' nautic star. Anyway I plan on taking my dad to BL tomorrow to try and convert him from a Bass fisherman to a trout fisherman. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Hope to see yall on the lake.

Advice.......live shrimp 18" to 30" under a popping cork.

Normally I would also say......look for birds, but on a weekend there probably would be 5 other boats trying to fish a flock of birds......and then nobody catches any fish and the fish and birds are scared off.

Find a spot away from other boats.....if that is possible.
