Not right now.. Its dark!!!:D

I think that it can be a problem with aluminum boat treated runners w no carpet some chemical reaction that causes damage to your hull .

huntin fool 08-27-2011 09:45 PM

I was about to ask why you didn't carpet or teflon them. Shawn your employment place has plenty of teflon.

Gerald 08-27-2011 11:25 PM

I will take some pictures and post tomorrow.

not sure if it would react but I know when I was in oil field all of our boats and new rentals that I saw were done that way. The teflon would work well but I don't like carpet since it holds water on boards.

we use a composite type edging for our landscape jobs. Its 1/2" thick and 4" wide. I srewed some pieces on top of my boards and my boat really slides off and on with ease now. My buddies have been putting it on theirs too. It doesn't take but a few small pieces. Its like those slicks they sell for high dollar.

I screwed strips of teflon down to my 2x4s that i had before, but the teflon wore and the stainless screws that i counter sunk started rubbing the boat, had to weld 3 spots because of this so I'm just gonna go back with carpet

I had 1" wide teflon strips every 16" and you couldnr unstrap the boat till it hit the water or it would slide off

I had to put foil tape on 1/2 of my cowling light so I could see when running at night

Natural Light Kid 09-02-2011 09:48 PM

Love the cup holder. Where do get those from?

Natural Light Kid 09-02-2011 10:52 PM

Whats on the sides of the boat? Looks like a board or something screwed or riveted to the ribs on the sides.

Thats sheet metal used for the support for 2-2x6's stacked on top of each other for a movable bench seat, allows me to distribute weight front go back better plus i can put the bench on the floor when not in use

scott craft 09-05-2011 09:26 AM

I like the gas tank setup. I take it your tank won't fit behind the seat? The whole boat looks pretty nice.

TidalSurge 09-12-2011 09:38 PM

SaltyShaw 09-12-2011 09:55 PM

Looks real good Shawn! Im with jude, you shoulda called im a great beer drinking moral support kinda guy lol.
Were did you get those courtesy lights? I have been wanting to put some around my console in my boat

Shawn Braquet 09-12-2011 10:01 PM

Attwood brand wally world sells them, i put a different style on my bay boat and like them better, i think jude would agree, put them under the rod holders because they are surface not flush mount so they protrude a half inch or so but have 5 bulbs so much brighter, plus you can get different colors
