Is it faster from Delcambre than from the launch in Avery island to Weeks Bay? Comes out at the mouth of the Avery canal.

Delcambre is also only about 20 min from my house and its way shorter than running from ICY which is also about 20min from my house

I used to run to the Eugene Island Blks to Spec fish- via Cypermont pt to Marsh Island, out the Mound/Shell Keys, in a 15 ft Aluminum Flat. Had a few close calls, lot's of low back pain....Still push it a little unfortunately at times

it depends on where you live... i live in south laffayette so it's much faster for me to drive to delcambre and launch... if you live closer to new iberia it would be closer to launch at avery is. the boat ride from avery is is a little shorter, but not enough to make any difference!
