Hell, just sit around and shoot em one afternoon or hunt em at night, much more fun than sitting in a stand watching a corn feeder:)

Guy I work with mixes red pepper with crisco then rubs feeder legs down, he said they can't climb it and its funny to see when they rub the pepper on their face

To keep them from climbing the legs, take pieces of tack strip like for laying carpet and zip tie them onto the legs. Use three pieces for each leg. They'll still come in and eat the corn on the ground, but they can't climb the tack strips.
