New here. Going out of Cypremort Point on Friday and going thru Shark Bayou to Weeks Bay. First time going there. Is the bayou good fishing? What should I use - shrimp? Fresh or previously frozen? Live Cocahoes? Johnson Sprite? I have caught reds and specs on all of the above in Grand Isle.

Bayou crawdaddy the bayou may be holding fish but watch for boat traffic cux they drive crazy thru the bayou alot weeks bay wud be a better area for u to fish at just look forthe birds or group of boats tha wud be all around and just try fishing with whatever they bite on best cux specks are picky with color lures or baits
