ok is there anything that I should be doing that would help me out? I am fairly new to the non boat fishing in Grand Isle so any advice will help. Eman has already helped so much hopefully we will do well. I am going down friday morning so I will fish friday and saturday and come back saturday mid day or so. thanks.

Follow Eman's advice and you should do well.;)
Me, Eman, and our brothers SoupBone and GoatHead, have fished almost every spot up and down that Hwy between Leeville and GI since we were kids.
(That's a lot of years gone by LOL)

The pits are going to get nothing but better from here on out. This week of temps in the mid / low 30s should make a good push of fish to the deeper areas. small lures fished slow or cacahoes should do the trick.
