Thank all of you for the help. This survey is CLOSED! We presented our proposal to Delcambre last night. I am listiing their website with some information about the boat launch, marina and seafood market. Delcambre is making some great strides with the recovery from past storms and are moving forward to turning things around. I cannot wait for the Launch to open and all the things else that is developing there. Thanks again for all ya'll help.

They put it out for bid but had a clerical error in the process so it will be out again soon...probably waiting on our project first. I will keep you updated. It will be a big improvement to the old one. I have never used it but after touring it and hearing from all of you I have learned that changes need to be made and they are coming. The marina should be completed soon, I believe, with much more to come.

Sounds good,I use to launch there atleast 3 times a month when all I had was a small flat bottom. Good fishing close to the launch and up and down the canal. Hope it goes as planned I would use the new launch for sure. The biggest problem with the old launch is parking.
