Just checked. 28 days of fishing in the last 3 months with artificial shrimp under a popping cork. Only 2 of them days we had to change to other lures to get our limits.
When the fish were deep, we had to change to lead heads and soft plastics.
All of these days were between I-10 and Moss Lake except for 2 days in Turners.

I don't fish near as much as most of you on here but when shopping for tackle I am quicker to grab the pre rigged set ups with cork, leader, and bait.

I know a lot of people who do that.
Only bad thing about the TKO rig is the leader is crap.
Supposed to be 25 lb. fluro., but it don't last long. Dink Trout cut it with their teefs.
I rig mine with 20 lb. Berkley fluro., and it never breaks/cuts.
I quit buying the TKO rigs cause of that.

Popping corks required in Rays boat... :grinpimp:

Gonna be just like Fishing Tom when I get big.
I want 14 rods sticking up, all with bright yellow popping corks.

I would go with scented and unscented.
Some folks believe in scents, some don't.
I bought TKO instead of DOA cause of the cost.
DOA is twice the price, don't catch no more than TKO.
TKO had the Blue Moon(Opening Night) color, which I like.
Opening Night has been betty betty guud to Ray this year.

Caught some nice trout in the Galveston and Surfside surf this Summer on the Blue Moon w/ Chartreuse tail TKO under a cork and w/o a cork. I also use the 20lb fluoro leader and the price is nice for the TKO.

You fish live bait. Your opinion don't count.

ALMOST....;)

I got the samples in the mail and they are awesome. One more question - what size is most appealing, 3.5" or 4"?

Thanks!

I don't think 1/2" will make much difference. When they's chasing Shrimp, they's eats everything.

I'll take the 3.5" samples and let you know how I like them. ;)

Seriously, I like the 3.5" shrimp.
