That's why river has lots of fish nobody wants to eat fish from the poo plant. If ever fish intracoatal city it's the mouth of the vermillion so any reds or specks might be poo fish too hahaha like fishing out of venice it's the butt hole of america. Where are the culverts you speak of I wouldn't mine just having something tug on the end of my line ?

The ones I used to fish growing up are on the south side of lafayette past the acadiana mall. Would ride my bike through the woods and fish close to where to culverts would drain into the river. Now the woods are a big neighborhood. You got a point,we have polluted water everywhere. Gives em a lil extra flavor. :D

Has anybody seen the Dirty Jobs episode on the tilapia farm? They were raised in a sewer plant. Vermillion can't be much worse. Fishing should be good in there think of all the structure to fish (fridges, cars, abandond boats, etc....)

When the water settles out and clears some you can wear out the sacalait in the river. Old man I know catches em fishing downed trees south of milton.
