I bought a wood duck box and put it up on a tree near my grandma's pond. Should I expect them to find it this year or is it more likely they will use it next year?

Christine took the pictures, we had estimated the time they would jump...she waited for 5 mornings in a blind near the box to finally catch them jumping.... 5 mornings for 1 minute of pictures..... |

They could use it this year, but probably more likely next year. Be sure and get it ready next year, watch out for wasp, and put in some nesting material, wood shavings, no sawdust.... |

Really nice pics., one day i was fishing chicot and baby ducks jumped out of box while swimming i seen a bass eat a couple of them.
