Couple of other good charters out of Quepos/Manuel Antonio area:

Pez Rey Sportfishing: pezrey.com

Pez Espada Sportfishing

Costa Mar Sportfishing: costamarsportfishing.com(Prolly the best of the cheaper fishing trips).

The smaller the boat, the cheaper the trip. We usually go 34 ft to 36 ft.
Swells in the Pacific can be 12 to 15 ft., but spaced far apart. We prefer the safety of a larger boat. But the larger boat costs more.

If you check out the Los Suenos site, they may have more fishing charters then I mentioned. But Maverick and Costa Rica Dreams will be hard to beat as far as nice boats, service and catching nice fish. Most of their websites will tell you what you will catch on what months.
