I like the Japanese Brand Catchers Mitts.... Mizuno. The stay softer longer and hold up better

I had a Nakona in high school; it was a great mitt!! Very reliable And really held up well to the abuse I handed out.
Ain't seen that mitt in years; but I'm sure someone is putting it to use.

Nakona's are expensive too, that's another reason I like the foreign mitts, cheaper.

Buddy of mine had a Asian mitt for a while; said it was hard to get his hand in at first; but he just kept throwing balls at it and oiled it 2x day .... Eventually it was a perfect fit. |
