Who said I was scrappin it?

Scrap aluminum price is 45c per pound. The boat must be stripped of all foam, wood and anything else that is not aluminum. That's not very easy, you have to cut the seats and transom open. Weld or glue that baby and make it a pond boat that you paddle or use with a trolling motor. I don't think that you need papers if it is only used in private waters.

What boggles me is...you are allowed to run in lacassine (which actually has vegetation that you could disturb) if you can get a boat in as long as your not in the wilderness area, but you cant run in Sabine that is very boat accessible and has no grass?

Kind of like you have to shoot steel so the ducks don't eat the lead and get sick.....I'm not buying either story

jbert22 01-15-2013 06:13 PM

They won't allow running the marsh because of the pirouges and stuff. Not the "vegetation" lol

cmcnabb 01-15-2013 06:24 PM

The pirogues just need to learn how to get out the way

jbert22 01-15-2013 07:05 PM

Lol I agree. Think I hunt with your cuz mcnab.
