Semteye is a solid reel. The Stradic ci4 is sealed really good and built just for power pro

BassYakR 04-02-2013 10:05 AM

The handle is bigger on the 3000. I love em both. I highly recommend that wright and MacGill Blair Wiggins inshore slam rod. @ Railside

I roll with 8# power pro on my 2500 and 10# super slick power pro on the 3000.

BassYakR 04-02-2013 10:12 AM

Clampy 04-02-2013 10:14 AM

I've never broke a trout off. This is a 90# gar fish of 8#

Clampy 04-02-2013 10:19 AM

I've caught two 7lb trout on 10# u can feel em breath on it.

BassYakR 04-02-2013 10:21 AM

I think any more than 15# test seem to hurt the performance of a spinning reel. That super slick is easy on rod guides too.

Clampy 04-02-2013 10:22 AM

That's what I use the 8. # for. Shaky heads and wacky and drop shot

Clampy 04-02-2013 10:24 AM

I have 5# power pro on my sac a lait rod. If you wanna talk light.
